For an open research project I decided to do a deepdive into friendship. I have always seen friendship as a self-evident thing, but the times during covid have made me realise that it's not always as self explenatory. I felt a lot of my friendship drowning to the background, or just changing in general. I lost a lot of friends, as people (including me) were much more selective with their friendships.
Because of this reason I decided to do a deepdive into the joy that's called Friendship. I was looking for all the nuances, all the subjectivity and the science behind it. I know how friendship feels for me, what it means to me, but how does that differ from person to person?
After a lot of interviews with friends, friends of friends, elderly people at a retirement home and going through a lot of literature I gained alots of perspectives that I wanted to share with people.
Now I don't know about you, but reading a research report is a bit boring in most cases, so I wanted to do something a bit different.
I created a podcast series. A podcast series in which I invite my friends to talk about a specific type of friendships.
